On the Radar

First up we have NASS 2011 - Action Sports and Music festval.

This is always a banger with so much on offer. We have covered the event for the past 5 years now and the only thing that ever dissapoints us is the British summer weather on the odd occassion! If you like a heavy bassline, enjoy camping and watching people do amazing tricks / cain themselves then this could be for you.
Check out our video below for a taste of last years tom foolery.

Onto this years event details.

Tinie Tempah and Sub Focus Live to Headline NASS Main Stage

Relentless Energy Drink NASS is proud to announce two major success stories of 2010 as its headliners for 2011. 2 x Brit Award winner, Tinie Tempah and Glastonbury headliner, Sub Focus.

Friday 8th July will see Sub Focus Live headline the main stage. 2010 saw Sub Focus, with tracks like “Rock it and Time Warp”, establish himself as one of the most exciting live acts in dance music. He has conquered drum & bass, created a ground-breaking, era-defining album, and has brought new school dance music further into the mainstream spotlight thanks to this un-miss able live show.

Friday support acts include Modestep and Redlight. Modestep are often described as the best LIVE DUBSTEP act in London town. They like to make NOISE and make your brains wobble with low pass filth. Redlight is navigating the airspace between house and dubstep, having already crafted a handful of jet-propelled bangers which have won over fans and followers including Skream, Toddla T, Jack Beats, A Trak, Mark Ronson, Zinc and Annie Mac.

Saturday 9th July will witness a triumphant return to NASS for 2 x Brit Award Winner Tinie Tempah. In 2010 you could not turn the radio on without hearing a Tinie track, be it “Frisky, Written in the Stars, Miami 2 Ibiza” and of course, Brit single of the year, “Pass Out”. Tinie is a genuine British superstar with the music World clamouring to work with him. With 2 Brit awards safely in the bag 2011 is going to be massive.

Saturday support acts include another double Brit Award winner Ms Dynamite and Maverick Sabre. Ms Dynamite is back after a rest from the game. Ms Dynamite had massive hits with “It Takes More” and of course “Dy-na-mi-tee” but has since returned supporting Magnetic Man and Katy B in the massive “Lights On”. Keep your ears out for Maverick Sabre. Having worked with Prof Green and Chase and Status, he is going it alone. The Hackney born artist will surprise with his eerie vocals and guitar.
