Get loose at the Freestyle Festival 2009, London

A night of all things Freestyle- A taster of the Freestyle Festival- http://www.freestyle-festival.com/

Freestyle Festival (www.freestyle-festival.co.uk) is on 31st October and 1st Nov and houses some of the top names in skateboarding, BMX, freerunning, b-boys, graffiti and rock music all under one roof at Alexandra Palace in London- the weekend promises to be great for everyone.

Pro level vert ramp and street competitions for skaters, BMXers, and inliners.

On the Vert Ramp and the Street Course- Skaters: Sam Bosworth, Sam Beckett, Ben Grove; BMXers: Mark Webb, Ben Wallace, Sebastien Keep; Inliners: Rich Parker, Chaz Sands already entered...competing for top prizes...come enter through website.

Sebastien Foucan, one of original founders of freerunning, is sharing his philosophies and providing the opportunity for everyone to learn the art form and how to jump safe.

B-Girl Firefly and MC Trix (Battle of the Year) are joined by international and UK crews to battle it out for the Freestyle Title and prize money; as well as teaching and running classes- all with an awesome hip hop B-Boy DJ line up and esteemed judging panel.

World renowned Secret Wars graffiti battle masters are on the search for new talent, running battles and workshops.

Get lessons from the best teachers- in Skateboarding, BMXing, Inline Skating, B’boying, Freerunning and Graffiti- Lessons are in every discipline and are free to sign up to when you buy a ticket.

On the Main Stage the line up goes like- MxPx, Fei Comodo, My Passion, This City, The Crave, Telegraphs, Starseed, Floors and Walls + many more.

For those that feel they have a musical talent to offer the Freestyle Festival audience, we are also looking for 2 bands to rock the Main Stage and play alongside our headliners. Enter this through the competition page on the website. Just upload an MP3 of your band’s music and a panel of respected music heads, including Alex Baker from Kerrang Radio, will chose the top 50 and you’ll be voted for by the public through the Freestyle Festival website. Entries will close by 14th September. Voting closes on 5th October. Winners announced on 9th October.

Tickets are available through the website www.freestyle-festival.co.uk and through TicketMaster www.ticketmaster.co.uk from 25th July 2009 and they cost £30 for 1 day, £50 for 2 days; £15 for evening ticket; £80 for family ticket for 1 day; £125 for 2 days; children under 14 to be accompanied by an adult.
