NASS 2009 WITH N*E*R*D

N*E*R*D to headline
Relentless NASS Festival 2009

N*E*R*D are confirmed as Friday night headliners of Relentless NASS 2009. N*E*R*D, who consist of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shae Hayley will be bringing their blend of booming hip-hop beats and rollercoastering rock riffs, rumbling crunk rhythms and scintillating soul music to the Bath and West Showground in Shepton Mallett for what will likely be the best live music act in the South West of 2009.

At present this is the only UK date N*E*R*D will be playing so for any N*E*R*D fan Relentless NASS is a must attend event. As well as the massive hits such as Rock Star, She Want to Move and Lapdance, N*E*R*D will be performing tracks from their latest album Seeing Sound that includes the track Everybody Nose.

While N*E*R*D headline the main stage Friday Relentless NASS also features two other live music stages including featuring the best in drum and bass, hip hop, dance, and classic rock. Keep up with line ups on www.nassfest.com .

Relentless NASS is the UK’s premier action sports and music festival. 2008 saw a return to form for the NASS festival thanks to new ownership and increased support from title sponsors Relentless.

The 15,000 capacity Relentless NASS Festival will take place from 10-12th July 2009 at The Bath and West Showground in Shepton Mallet in Somerset. The event features the best in action sports including skateboarding, BMX, freestyle moto-x and inline skating as well as a world class music bill over the three days.

The brand new Relentless NASS Festival website www.nassfest.com and tickets go on sale on Friday 30 January 2009 at 9am.

With the support of Relentless Energy Drink the event in 2009 promises to be the most developed NASS ever seen. Every aspect of the event will be improved from course design and prize money to music bill and consumer activity. Relentless NASS aims to become World class in the next few years.

Additions to the event include a public access skateboard and BMX park, a world class dirt BMX course, a freestyle moto-x event never before seen in the UK and a third day of music planned for the Sunday of the event.

As with 2008, Relentless NASS will consult with experts in each area of the event to ensure they are run to the highest possible standard bringing the best event of this kind in the UK. Expect the best street course ever built at a UK event designed by industry leaders in their fields and a music line up far superior to anything ever seen at NASS before. Music bookings across the three stages and arenas have commenced and the first announcement will be on 30th January. Prepare to be amazed.

Event Manager Jamie Monson said “After the success of last year we are really proud to be coming back to the showground for Relentless NASS ’09. A lot of hard work has gone into turning the event around and pushing it forward and we are all very excited about the plans for the forthcoming event. Expect improvements in all aspects of the event. I am especially excited about our music line up and can’t wait for our special announcement in January.”
