Lazy Days Crazy Nights - Sturban Clothing Podcast - Free Download
Taken from the Sturban Clothing Blog
sNOOk has once again stepped up to the mark and brings us another hour plus of melodic downtempo vibes building to some filthy skankers at the end! Hope you like it. Yet another image for our snowboarding days and drunken nights in Aviemore, I look very strange in that image and good reason why I have managed to stay out of them ever since;-)
We have been a bit lax on the podcasts recently I know Gordon has blown his computer and is in the process of rebuilding, I have been busy holding down 3 jobs and trying to pay bills and earn a living, Tricksta is busy running his PR agency so sNOOk has become the only one left standing and moved into the spot of resident DJ. sNOOk we salute you....
If anybody reading fancies doing a podcast it's one hour min in mp3 format and supply us with a tracklisting, simple as that we aint exclusive we are happy that if you have a band are a producer, dj or just like music then wack some tracks together and entertain us we wont make fun, we not unless you slip in some S Club 7 tracks. we can supply drops so hit me up glyn[at]sturbanclothing.com.

Manny Mania 2011
Another Manny Mania weekend in New York ended with Joey Brezinski getting another win—his third—with Saturday’s World Am winner Sewa Kroetkov and David Gonzalez following behind in second and third. Thunderstorms were in the weather forecast, so Red Bull put up a huge tarp to avoid another rainout like last year. But the sky stayed dry (at least during the contest), and it was another epic one in NYC.
FINAL RESULTS:
1. Joey Brezinski
2. Sewa Kroetkov
3. David Gonzalez
4. Ronnie Creager
5. Alex Carolino
6. Marty Murawski
7. Dennis Busenitz
8. Eli Reed
9. Steve Nesser
10. Walker Ryan

Chimpo featuring DRS - Holding On - Free MP3 Download and Remix Comp
The one they call CHIMPO is a pillar of the Manchester Music Community. Whether writing badboy dubstep riddims, or dope hip-hop beats, or compiling a sick ragga mixtape, none can test the Monkey Man. The last few years have seen him be taken under the wing of the main man Zed Bias, which only further proves the man’s potential.
With releases on several high-profile labels such as Contagious, SideStepper and Sin City, the lad has also toured America to showcase his beats which also led to an opportunity to officially remix the Wu-Tang – a perfect culmination for a man that has sought to the fuse the best of both worlds.
He has been DJing around Manchester and the UK for years, and his sets speak of his range, experience and love of music in all its shapes, colours and sizes…
Remix Comp
The prize is a day in the studio with MC DRS and Chimpo and an interview in Example Magazine. The competition is open until the 1st of September and the winner will be by picked by CHIMPO and DRS.
To submit an entry email a 320 MP3 to comp@examplemedia.co.uk.

BOOMTOWN FAIR - WENT OFF WITH A BANG
BOOM AND THE FAIR IS DONE!
THURSDAY 11TH – SUNDAY 14TH AUGUST 2011
SECRET LOCATION 60 MINS FROM LONDON / 10,000 CAPACITY FESTIVAL
TICKET PRICE: £93 - SOLD OUT
The third sold-out instalment of Boomtown Fair has left ‘Boomers’ crying out for more! With over 25 separate stages, 700 acts and 10,000 inhabitants; the Boomtown citizens came, saw and conquered the spiralling streets and venues, helping create Boomtown’s unique and unrivalled atmosphere.
Boomtown 2011 was created by 100’s of skilled and dedicated crew members, from the efforts of the sterling production team, to the creative visions of the onsite artists and sculptors’ they all managed to make a dream a reality and the alternative universe of Boomtown was reborn! So unique and different is the vibe of Boomtown that even the Godfather of festivals, Michel Eavis felt the need to pop by to give the festival his seal of approval and to take a peek at how the other half do it.
With so much packed into the small town the highlights were abundant; from the big headline antics of Gogol Bordello to the naughty shenanigans of the Arcadia crew in their custom built roaming ‘Bug’ stage. High jinks and mayhem were on the menu and the Boomtown folk lapped it up! The Bassline Circus was pumping, the Lion’s Den roaring and the Town Centre (Main Stage) pulsating with what felt like enough energy to power the sun!
Lak Mitchell and Chris Rutherford – Boomtown Organisers and Founders say:
“We would like to thank all our loyal and enthusiastic supporters. In a young and ambitious festival like Boomtown we are constantly trying to push the boundaries and expand our vision. Through this we are likely to run in to a few teething problems but with all the support we receive from the people who love and help Boomtown grow, together we can work on making this festival the perfect escapist, alternative event that we all aspire for it to be. Bring on 2012, we’ve only just begun!”
If the Boomtown blues are kicking in and just can’t wait to get the next a Boomtown fix, the Super Early Bird tickets going on sale in November and a series of pre-show Boom Balls will be popping up in selected UK cities. Watch this space for more information: http://www.boomtownfair.co.uk/

BOOMTOWN FAIR NOW SOLD OUT! LOOK OUT FOR THE SKATEPARK PAGES REVEW COMNG SOON
BOOMTOWN 2011 – SOLD OUT!
THURSDAY 11TH – SUNDAY 14TH AUGUST 2011
SECRET LOCATION 60 MINS FROM LONDON / 10,000 CAPACITY FESTIVAL
TICKET PRICE: £93 - SOLD OUT
Boomtown 2011 has now fully SOLD OUT for the third time in its three year history! The organisers released an extra 2,500 tickets just a month ago and now all the passes have been snapped up by bass hungry ‘Boomtowners’ who are revving themselves up for a solid four-days of pure escapism, entertainment and intrigue! With the 2011 festival doubling in size and ambition after the highly successful 2010 festival, this year is promising to be the best yet.
Lak Mitchell, co-director and co-founder of Boomtown says:
“We are over the moon at the support and enthusiasm we’ve had for this year’s festival. Thanks to everyone who has bought a ticket and helped keep the Boomtown dream alive! We can’t wait to open the town gates, the crew have been working solidly for the past 5-weeks to create this alternative, interactive and immersive world and now we just can’t wait to share it with everyone!”
On top of the excellent news that the festival has sold out, it is with sadness that Boomtown also have to announce the cancellation of Barrington Levy, as he has pulled out of several upcoming scheduled dates. Barrington Levy is now unable to keep to his confirmed shows for both Boomtown Fair and Outlook festival. Both festivals have tried everything in their power to ensure the booking was committed to but due to circumstances out of the festival director’s hands the shows have been cancelled. The good news in all this is that Gentleman’s Dub Club, who smashed their show last year and left the crowd pleading for more are now bumped up the bill and will be headlining the Lion’s Den on Saturday night for some high-octane, knee bashing skanking moves!
