Bio
Hollywood Undead aren't your standard rap or rock crew. The mask-welding group bring something fresh, dangerous, funny and alive to the music scene.

The Californian band’s debut album 'Swan Songs' is out May 18th through A&M/Octone Records with production credits by Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails) and Don Gilmore (Linkin Park). On their debut album they've concocted an explosive cocktail of hip hop, rock and metal; think Eminem meets Slipknot.

Hollywood Undead's sound cuts with a distinct hip hop swagger and a brooding, hard rock aggression. Group member Deuce bursts out the melodies, Johnny 3 Tears, J-Dog and Charlie Scene lead the lyrical charge, while Funny Man drops the rhymes and Da Kurlzz hypes the fray.

'Swan Songs' is an album full of incisive, sharp and sarcastic raps which slash the jugular of mainstream pop culture. The band’s debut single and album opener 'Undead' which is released May 4th sets the tone, firing off a big melody and buoyant beats. The video for the energetic track was directed by Jonas Akerlund (also responsible for the Prodigy’s ‘Smack My Bitch Up’) and has clocked over two million views on YouTube. The track is also being used on the new GI Joe film trailer which will be released this summer.

Other tracks on the album include 'No.5' which dissects the frivolities of Hollywood with witty, catchy choruses while another track 'Los Angeles' examines their hometown's evil edge.

J-Dog describes their sound best: "It's different genres mixed together with no holds barred. The rap songs are straight-up club songs and the rock songs are in your face and industrial. It's a collaboration of six people with different thoughts coming together and not holding back."

Hollywood Undead will be supporting The Blackout throughout May, plus they’ll be playing the main stage at Download on Friday 12th June.
